On foot: Outside the main entrance of the railway station you will find a blue signboard which will indicate you how to reach Martini & Piccolo Hotels on foot.To reach us on foot from the railway station, follow the sidewalk which is located on the left side of the station, go straight on, pass the church leaving it on your right side, cross the street on the left, then cross the street on the right and go straight on again. You will find a big crossroad. Cross it and you will be in Via Camuzzoni where you will immediately see the Hotels.

By public transportation: for a taxi it takes 5 minutes to reach us and it costs about € 8.00.

On foot: Coming from the station cross the whole square in front, pass at the left of the church and go ahead till a big crossing.
By public transportation: A taxi takes 5 minutes and costs € 8.00. Otherwise you can take the bus 11 and 12 from platform A in the direction Stadio-Borgo Milano. Get off at the stop of Via Vitruvio. From the bus stop go straight toward the traffic light and turn right into Via San Marco. Pass the bridge and turn right into Viale Colonello Galliano where after 500 mts (545 yards) you'll see hotel Porta Palio. Total time 10 minutes.

By car: Take Viale del Lavoro in the direction Centro-Stazione. Pass over the viaduct and pass on in Viale Piave. Pass under the railway-bridge and at the traffic light turn left, keeping the right side of the street in the direction of Ospedale B.go Trento. At the next traffic light straight on without entering the underpass. At the second traffic light turn left, pass on the bridge and take Via Camuzzoni
By public transportation: A taxi needs 10 minutes and costs € 10.00. It is also possible to take bus nr. 21-22-61 in front of the main entrance or bus 41 in the side street Viale dell'Agricoltura. - To the Hotel Porta Palio
with our free shuttle bus Outside the main entrance of the railway station you will find a blue signboard which will indicate you how to reach Martini & Piccolo Hotels on foot. You will also see a red arrow; following this you will get to the meeting point of the Free Shuttle bus for Hotel Porta Palio. Going to the left you will see some scales, go upstairs. You will find a blue signboard with the indications of the Hotel Porta Palio Shuttle Bus, which works everyday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every 30 minutes. As soon as you will be near the signboard, please call the phone number on it and we will come to pick up you as soon as possible.

Once you reached the Porta Palio, leave this to your right , cross the round about and take Via Piccoli. Right after the bridge turn left and take Via Camuzzoni and you'll find the hotels Martini and Piccolo. Total time 15 minutes.

- To the Hotel Porta Palio
On foot : Take Via Roma up to the end from Piazza Brà to Castelvecchio. In front of Castelvecchio turn left and then straight on on Corso Porta Palio. Once you reached the gate Porta Palio, leave this to your left, cross the round about and turn right into Viale Colonello Galliano. After 500mts. (545 yards) you'll see Hotel Porta Palio. Total time 15 minutes.

By car: We always suggest the exit VERONA-NORD on the A22. Out of the toll gate at the roundabout turn right and after 100mts (110 yards) turn right again and take the Tangenziale (ringroad) direction Verona Centro. Finish the Tangenziale till the end. At the traffic light you can see the Hotel on your left.
- To the Hotel Porta Palio By car: We always suggest the exit VERONA-NORD on the A22. Out of the toll gate at the roundabout turn right and after 100mts (110 yards) turn right again and take the Tangenziale (ringroad) direction Verona Centro. The Trattoria Ai Bastioni is open from February to November fron 12:30 to 2:30 and from 7:30 till 11:00 p.m. (the kitchen close at 10:30 p.m., until 11:00 you can order pizza) In the Opera Lirica days Trattoria Ai Bastioni is open from 12:30 to 3:00 and then from 6:30 till 10:30 p.m. to give you the possibility enjoying your meal before going to the Arena. The Trattoria Ai Bastioni is situated inside Hotel Porta Palio and from the Hotels Martini and Piccolo there is a free shuttle service with the same operating hours as the restaurant. To get opera tickets you can write to our bookin goffice (fax +39045577620 or e-mail info@hotelsverona.it )which will take care of your booking. The payment has to be made by bank transfer once you get confirmation of your booking.
You can take your tickets at your arrival directly at the reception.

In case of bad weather the performance will never be cancelled before the foreseen starting-hour. Tickets will only be reimbursed if the performance is cancelled before the end of the first act. In the case of a performance in one act the right of reimbursement stops at the start of the performance.
To be reimbursed you have to deliver the tickets at the ticket-office of the Arena starting from the cancellation of the performance or within the next day. Otherwise you can send them by mail within 10 days of the date of the cancelled performance to: Fondazione Arena di Verona, Piazza Brà 28, 37121 Verona. Info www.arena.it

The free shuttle bus that goes to the Arena stops right in front of the hotel reception and goes round trip to Castelvecchio (just 5 minutes walking from the Arena) from 6.30 p.m to 8.30 p.m so that you can enjoy your dinner at Trattoria Ai Bastioni before the Opera. The free shuttle bus will do the same after the show from Castelvecchio to the Hotel from midnight to 1.00 am .

At the Martini and Piccolo Hotels a barman will be available to prepare aperitifs and snacks from 4:30 till 6:30 p.m. The Trattoria Ai Bastioni opens at 6:30 p.m. for those who want to enjoy setaed at their ease in the garden the special and tasty Pre-opera suggestions.

We ask this information to guarantee the confrrmation of your booking, so that also in case of late arrival we can guarantee your room. The info you give us is only used to guarantee the booking; i.e. we guarantee that the info will be treated as confidential and in harmony with the laws in force.
