This hotel gave us a very comfortable stay. The walk to the city centre was enjoyable and indeed a great time- holding hands while walking along the riverside with someone special. Breakfast was with great variety! Plus the free shuttle from and to the train station!what else could you ask for?oh and by the way, the staff were awesome and the bed was very comfy!
Ci siamo fermati solo una notte, la stanza era spaziosa, letto comodo, tv led, cassaforte, segnale Wi-Fi perfetto,il bagno spazioso e pulito. Colazione abbondante internazionale con salumi e formaggi con ampia scelta di dolci e brioches,distributori self service per le bevande sia calde che fredde, personale gentile e premuroso. Dispone di parcheggio interno pagando un extra ma lungo la via dell'albergo ci sono parecchi parcheggi gratuiti. Il centro della città si può raggiungere facilmente sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici.
Ho trovato questo albergo su Last Minute Tour per passare un weekend con il mio ragazzo e visitare Verona. L hotel non si trova proprio in centro, ma comunque vicino ci saranno un 800m, ma è comunque comodo perché è a metà strada dalla stazione e dal centro. La colazione a buffet era davvero ottima e il personale gentilissimo e molto simpatico. La camera era carina e pulita. Ve lo consiglio!
Buona posizione per raggiungere il centro città a piedi, camere moderne e accoglienti, ottima pulizia.
Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato al Porta Palio questo week end, prenotando tramite smartbox. Devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti sotto tutti i punti di vista.Siamo arrivati con due ore di anticipo sull orario ufficiale del check in ma la ragazza alla hall ci ha consegnato senza alcun problema le chiavi della stanza.La camera era molto ben pulita e non spartana come letto su altre recensioni, anzi, l abbiamo trovata piacevole e accogliente!Soddisfacente anche la ristorazione della trattoria dell albergo, cibi semplici ma ben fatti!Ancora meglio la colazione, completissima!La posizione della albergo consente in 10/15 minuti a piedi di arrivare all arena e a tutti gli altri siti del centro. Ho prenotato un tre stelle ed ho trovato un validissimo tre stelle. Bravi!
Hotel eccellente , ottima posizione, pulito, personale cortese e qualificato.RIstorante e pizzeria collegati , piatti tipici e non.Se dovessi ritornare nella stupenda Verona, alloggerei sicuramente in questo hotel.Complimenti vivissimi.
Hotel Porta Palio offre un'ottima colazione che si distingue per varietà e abbondanza e un'impeccabile pulizia della stanza!
This hotel is located about 8 minutes walk from the station at Porta Nuova, where the airport bus stops. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with a good shower room. An excellent cold buffet breakfast is available for 8 Euros, with a range of cereals, fruit, cheese and meats and a great selection of cakes and pastries! Cold drinks may be purchased from chillers in the lobby and added to your room bill but there is also a bar. The hotel runs an hourly shuttle into town in the afternoon and evening. A great place to stay! The Wifi is also extremely fast!
Really nice breakfast, cozy and simple rooms, 10-15 min. walk to the city center. You can leave your car for free in front of the hotel, or if you prefer, take it to the underground garage for a small fee. I was here 8 years ago, everything improved in the meantime so I have no reason to change my place of stay in Verona.
We arrived for a four night stay and had half unpacked and realized the key to the safe was not working. No problem and they moved us immediately. Employees very helpful and friendly and will not hesitate to go out of their way to help you. Wide spread for breakfast, fresh and quite frankly did not miss the bacon and sausages which would have been extra at other hotels. Very clean and everything worked in the room and very quite. Air conditioner top notch, relieve from 37 degrees and worked all the time. Rail station for us 6 minute walk for us, which makes Venice and Lake Garda easily accessible especially coming back late. Managed to wheel small on board suitcases except by the road intersection a bit tricky but still managed. Airport bus right outside station. Don't use extortionate taxis, bus is every 20 minutes outside station and about 7 euros one way for a 15 minute ride or so. Town Center about a 15 minute walk for us. Oh yes, most imortantly WI-FI worked well. Thank you to Piccolo Hotel for a great stay and would highly recommend to others.
